he LAMM (Lowe Alpine Mountain Marathon) is a two day annual mountain marathon in Scotland. Competed over two days, competitors participate in teams of two and have to be self sufficient, carrying their own tent and food. The first LAMM was located in Arrochar in 1994 and with the exception of 2013, there has been an event every year.
Myself and Scott have competed in three events:
- 2009 – Kintail:Class D, Position: 17/116, Time: 09:59:08
- 2010 – Glen Fyne:Class C, Position: 53/143, Time: 11:27:25
- 2009 – Beinn Dearg:Class B, Position: 47/67, Time: 12:38:30
Reports for all these races are below. My 2011 report for Beinn Dearg won best blog award.
